SOURCE ACCOUNT

Felix Fontaine

The Golden Wheel Dream-book and Fortune-teller · 1862

Painting · Heading 538; source line 3529 · Text transcription

Original source (English)

To dream of painting your house is a sign of sickness in the family, but at the same time thrift and good luck in business: if, in your dream, you see a white house newly painted outside, you will probably soon be summoned to attend a funeral: to see any other colored house newly painted, foretells that you will hear of the sickness of a friend or relative: dreaming of beautiful paintings of landscapes, portraits, &c., is an omen of bad luck and poverty.
