Notice how the form appeared: drawn on a surface, marked as a boundary, made from separate pieces or seen as a structure you could approach. Position, size, orientation and whether you were inside or outside can give the scene a task. Naming a shape does not settle what its arrangement meant to you.
Circle and Triangle explore distinct actions and positions around two basic forms. Pyramid concerns a recognizable structure and retains its historical accounts. This small collection is a starting point, with other shapes still to be developed. Use Numbers and patterns when a quantity or sequence matters separately, and follow the particular object when its use is more memorable than its outline.
