Shopping and errands
Payments, labels, checkout records, delivery details and packaging.

What needed to reach someone, be checked or be recorded? Shopping and errands can involve more than choosing an item: a code that identifies it, a payment that is confirmed, packaging around it or an address that directs a delivery. These steps may be remembered separately, with different people and tools involved.
Cash and Credit card concern money and its form. Cashier follows the person-facing role, while Cash register and Vending machine follow device exchanges. Barcode, Receipt, Postal address and Bubble wrap follow labels, documents, destinations and packing materials. An automated checkout reporting an error is its particular situation rather than a definition of all shopping. Compare the action and response in each original reading; these pages do not assess actual finances or advise transactions.
